There's some annoying positive camber on the front driver's side wheel. Anybody know any good places to get an alignment done here in NYC?

No sense in aligning it if you are just gonna roll it over again.
Joking aside, come to NH and I will align it for free.

Yeah, I can see your alignment issue right there, it's the wrong side up.

Didn't you hear? Positive camber is all the rage with the cool kids now. . .

I'd think it'd be pretty easy, and not hard to find in a spec book either. It's not like it's an obscure car.
Might be a good idea to find out *why* the camber's goofy, though. Failing ball joints and such wouldn't be a good thing. Nor something bent.

I recommend taking it to a pro, but if you're in a pinch and have an open parking lot for testing, the adjustments on the tie rods are easy to reach.

actually, in this picture the car is stuck. Took me a while to rock it out. So, drama abounds in Baja land!

Tempting. Very tempting. I think I'm gonna spend this weekend gorging on halal food thanks to a different suggestion on another post, but where's your shop? Maybe I should come up if/when I go to Mt. Washington

I'm not really in a pinch (it wants to turn slightly to the left all the time), now I just need to pick out a good shop to do it.

I assume it's still from the rollover, but I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if the ball joints needed replacing, but I don't have a good eye to know what's good or what's bad.

It is. High boy, baby!

Bad ball joints are not that hard to pick out... usually. Clicks when rolling the wheel all the way over sometimes, or taking the weight off the ball joint with a jack. If its something bent, then it may be expensive for an alignment shop to fix...

What I really need is someone with a good eye to take a look at it and just tell me what needs replacing. The answer is probably gonna be 'everything.'

Word of mouth recommendations are definitely something I rely on, just had to give you a hard time :) there's no better way to find a good shop.
